Dear Dan:

	Enclosed at long last is my new paper on circumscription hereby
submitted for publication in Artificial Intelligence.  It
is an improved version of that given at the AAAI Workshop on Non-Monotonic
Reasoning but that isn't considered publication.  This is actually my
first submission to Artificial Intelligence apart from the special issue.
I am finally learning to resist requests to publish in obscure proceedings.
